Development Manager
Remuneration package up to £38k per year
SummitSkills is the Sector Skills Council for the building services engineering sector, which comprises 55,000 businesses throughout the electrotechnical, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing industries. This role will be home based but requiring regular visits to the Milton Keynes office and other locations throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for initiating, undertaking and delivering research and development projects and activities, in areas such as national occupational standards, vocational qualifications, learning support materials, performance support materials, skills auditing, identifying industry change factors and market research.
The successful candidate will have a knowledge and understanding of the national issues affecting pre and post-16 vocational and managerial education & training. Broad and successful experience of developing vocational and managerial education & training products is also a key requirement of the post. Ideally you will have a technical background in building services engineering and have knowledge of renewable and microgeneration technologies.
