The Gas Safe Register has replaced CORGI in Great Britain and the Isle of Man. The register exists to protect consumers and their property from dangerous gas work. By law, anyone carrying out work on consumer gas installations and appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register.
Competent Persons Scheme
The following certificates are accepted for the the Competent Persons Scheme:
- City & Guilds Energy Efficiency Certificate 6084
Training is currently funded in England and Northern Ireland (the Skills for Business Network is negotiating funding for training in Wales and Scotland).
