Green Events for a Green Future

With backing from the Employer Investment Fund (EIF), Asset Skills (in partnership with Summit Skills and Construction Skills) is running a series of free, half day events to raise awareness of the skills requirements for Green Deal.

The events will be attended by Green Deal providers, assessors, advisors, installers, and related skills bodies and learning providers; making Green Deal Connections.

Programme

The events will aim to connect the Green Deal supply chain with the relevant skills information and include exhibitions, seminars and presentations on:

Overview of Green Deal Process including: qualifications, accreditation, regulatory bodies and the Green Deal Code
The role of Government departments
The skills required across Green Deal advice, assessment and installation
Low Carbon groups within your region
Network connections to successfully implement Green Deal

The Green Deal Connections events are taking place in or around the following cities:

London 12 January 2012
Birmingham 26 January 2012
Belfast 8 February 2012
