Experienced WorkersSummitSkills has developed the SummitSkills National Assessment Programme (SNAP), which is for experienced workers in the building services engineering sector who need formal qualifications (S/NVQs) to gain skill cards. This is for people who learnt their trade on site and never got formal qualifications to prove their standard of work. This project utilises partnerships with HVCA, Engineering Services SKILLcard and various training providers across the UK. Initially the project only covers heating and ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications, but later this year it will include plumbing as well.
