Further to the worldwide study into climate change, the UK Government agreed to reduce its harmful emissions into the atmosphere under the Montréal and Kyoto Protocols.
Alongside the commitment to reduce emissions, UK Government was looking at means to reduce fatalities and accidents within the building services industries.
This resulted in the changes to the Building Regulations, taking into consideration international concerns around Global Warming and Energy Performance of Building Directive from European Directive.
