London & South East Regional Training Awards 2007
The London & South East celebrates its engineering & apprentice talent!
Winners in six apprentice and engineering categories were revealed at the London & South East Training Awards on Tuesday 20 November. The awards ceremony held at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club, is an annual celebration of building services engineering talent in the region. Awards were presented by special guest, Tony Thomas, Professor in Work Based Learning at London South Bank University.
Fred Titterington, SummitSkills’ assistant operations manager for London and the South-East, explained: “The building services engineering sector is brimming with talent and it is important to recognise this, particularly since the UK is experiencing significant skills shortages. Competitions such as this, give us opportunities to promote the rewarding careers available within the industry, and attract our future workforce.”
